The project comprises a single-storey villa with a gross floor area of 200 m², offering a very large day area (kitchen, dining room and living room) facing south and opening onto the garden and swimming pool, a night area facing Parc Brot and a fitness area that could be converted into a doctor's surgery with separate entrance and wc. A carport with a utility and storage room and an outdoor swimming pool complete the offer.
The project develops the theme of the single-storey villa by integrating the 200 m² of the programme under a large flat roof. The layout gives a feeling of grandeur, with spaces arranged in a fluid manner and offering views of up to 18 m (diagonal hall / dining room / living room). Thanks to its large windows, the house is very light, and the indoor-outdoor relationship reinforces the feeling of a very large house, since the limits of the space are no longer the house but the plot itself.
The project echoes the architecture of American mid-century houses, particularly the Californian case study houses built in the 1950s.
